Recommend Monday

Good Monday All!

Hope you had a good weekend and you're ready for a brand new week. Can't wait to hear about your great reads.

My days (and nights) last week were filled with lots of release week stuff. This week I'm going to be at a couple of blogs, but I do hope to get back to work on NOTHING TO LOSE. The characters are yelling at me to pay attention to them.

If you've read and enjoyed MIDNIGHT LIES, I hope you'll tell others and about it and leave a review at your favorite review site.

Today I'm over at Kiss and Thrill blog today, chatting about how I came up with the name of the town and other things you might not know about the series or me. Hope you'll come over and visit. I'm also giving away a signed copy of MIDNIGHT LIES. Kiss and Thrill blog

On Wednesday, I'll be at author Jami Gray's blog on Wednesday answering all sorts of fun questions and if you don't get a chance to catch me over there, I'll be at 7 Evil Dwarves on Thursday. I'll hop back over once the link goes live and post it for you. Hope to see you there!

Whoops, forgot to come over and share yesterday's link. No worries, you can catch me at with the same post here 7 Evil Dwarves . Come share your favorite one-liner for a chance to win a copy of MIDNIGHT LIES!

Thank you all for your kind notes and emails about MIDNIGHT LIES. I sincerely appreciate them. And for those who won prizes from my Ella Grace blog and Facebook release day party, prizes are being packed up and will be shipped soon!

Okay, enough about me. What about you? What are you reading? What are you wanting to read?

Comment here for a chance to win a signed copy of MIDNIGHT LIES. Winner will be announced Wednesday.

Happy reading all!

  2. Hi Chrisy, hi Everyone!
Christy it seems you have another busy week ahead, but it sounds like fun.

I am sure I do not need to recommend Midnight Lies here, because all your readers already got this great book.

Besides Midnight Lies I have two recommends this week:
Malachim by Naima Simone ( you introduced this author to us here on R.M.)Its the second book in her secret and sins series. I higly recommend it and am already looking forward to the next one "Raphael".

And Jill Shalvis newest Lucky Harbor novel: Always on my mind. I just love her books.

Thats it from me. Happy reading, Everyone!

  3. Happy Monday everyone. It is a rainy day here in Southern Oregon and I love it that way. To bad I have kidlets to take care of and house work to do, or it would be the perfect day to lounge, read and have hot cocoa.

I have read a few really good books lately. One was by an up and coming author you may have heard of. Ella Grace brought some major sizzle to the town of Midnight. Holy COW, I loved this book. This was one that I couldn't put down and about 2am, my hubby wakes up and looks at me and says "REALLY??" All I could say was "Yep, go back to sleep" lol

I got caught up on Kaylea Cross' PJ series with Tactical Strike and Lethal Pursuit. I love this series, but I think Lethal Pursuit is my favorite so far.

And finally, I read Thunder Creek by Jill Gregory. I really enjoyed this one, and bonus I found out it is a series. It is an older series of hers, but since it is new to me I can brag about it :)

Have an awesome week everyone and congrats on your trip back to Midnight Christy!!!

  5. Happy Monday...not.
I really need a new line, but other than Recommend Monday, there is absolutely nothing about Mondays to rejoice about. :)

My recommends for this week are:
    Getting Rowdy, Lori Foster
Always on My Mind, Jill Shalvis
    Lethal Pursuit, Kaylea Cross

I'm also in the process of trying to get my Kindle better organized and I'm still debating on re-reading Midnight Secrets before I move on to Midnight Lies. I've also been holding off on it because I know I won't want to put it down once I start and I need to catch up on some sleep!!! Not sure I'll be able to wait much longer though (I do kind of like the torture of the extended anticipation).

    Have a good week.

  6. Unforunately I have not had a chance to get or read Midnight Lies :'(
What I did get read was a couple of books recommended to me: Louise Penny's Bury Your Dead and Nancy Bush's Nowhere Safe.
The first book was good, it moved a little slower then I normally like but still a good read and kept me guesing until the end.
Nancy Bush always writes a good book so no problem there.

Glad that you had a great release week last week!
