Recommend Monday

Good Monday All!

How was your weekend? Do anything fun, read anything grand? Let us know!

Last week I sent in the revised version of MIDNIGHT SECRETS to my editor. Amazing that as I read through the book, I cried in the same places I did when I wrote it. Even knowing what was going to happen, I still cried. I hope this means it's a good book and not just because I'm a weenie. (:

I believe, at last, my Ella Grace website will be revealed this week. When it goes live, I'll hop on the blog to let you know. Did you get a chance to read the excerpt of MIDNIGHT SECRETS on my Ella Grace Facebook page. I may be wrong but I don't think you have to be on Facebook to read it. Here's the link: MIDNIGHT SECRETS excerpt on Facebook

This week I'm working on MIDNIGHT LIES. It's due in six weeks and I'm way behind. When I went back to it late last week, I reread what I've written and was extremely happy with it. So yay, onward and upward! In between that, I will continue to work on CHANCES ARE. I really want to get Angela and Jake's novella in your hands. I think you're going to love it. At least I hope so!

There's a fun blog blitz going on over at my RWA chapter's blog a chance to win books, prizes and gift cards and also a Kindle Fire. Here's the official ad:

Starting September 17 through October 16, weekdays only, Southern Magic will have a great line up of authors/writers giving away books, gift cards and swag! For every comment during these four weeks, the commenter's name will be placed in a drawing for a KINDLE FIRE! So the more you comment, the more often your name will be entered for the e-reader.

So check it out at Romance Magicians' Blog Blitz

Okay, that's it for me. Have a great week and tell us what great books we should be reading!

  1. Greetings,
So happy to hear the books are all moving forward. Can't wait to get to read them all!!!

I had a great time in Alaska last week, but spent the majority of the weekend trying to get back on East Coast time. I, of course, stayed up late reading. :)

I read All He Ever Needed by Shannon Stacey and Guardian by Catherine Mann. Both were enjoyable reads. That's it for me this week. Have a good one!!

  2. Normal weekend chores, nothing fun. But I did read a few good books Victoria Lynn's "With this Kiss" historical was good.

    And

CJ Robert's Captive In The Dark & Seduced In The Dark. VERY DARK stories but with good a good ending. One book runs into the other. Worth the money. An emotional rollercoaster. I LOVED LOVED LOVED them.

  3. I love all of Marie Force's romance novels!! All 3 of her series -- McCarthy's of Gansett Island (Maid for Love), Treading Water, and the Fatal series (Fatal Affair)-- are wonderful stories. I'm on book #16 since the beginning of August. She has new books coming out in each series in the next 3 months. The Fatal series is both suspense and romance. You just can't put them down! I can't wait for your next book, Christy!

  4. Hi All!

I read some great books last week. Jackie encouraged me to read CJ Robert's Captive In The Dark & Seduced In The Dark. I was skeptical, but I loved it. Very much an emotional roller coaster.

I also did a re-read of Teresa Reasor's Breaking Free to refresh my memory to read the 2nd book in her SEAL Team Hearbreakers series Breaking Through.

That's all for me. Happy reading everyone!

Didn't do any thing really exciting over the weekend. Read and slept! My 2 favorite things.

  8. Hey Everyone, the absent or is it absent-minded writer checking in late again. Busy, busy week last week. Some good, some not so good. I'm not a techie person and somehow decided to impersonate one. It did not turn out well. ):

However, despite my foray into things that should be left to others, I'm hoping to see the Ella Grace site go up this week. Fingers crossed!

Thanks so much for the recommends. I'm definitely going to check into a couple of them that sound fabulous. I hope you did the same.

I'm headed over to prepare the Recommend Monday for today. Please come over and check it out. I have a couple of announcements you'll definitely want to know about.
