Good Monday All!
Hope you had a great weekend filled with some fabulous reads.
I spent the first part of last week in Mexico and Virginia and the second part in Houston, Texas. It was a wonderful week filled with fascinating characters and I loved it. So please forgive the shortness of this post. I'm headed back to Houston today and I think I'll be in Dallas this afternoon. Who knows where I'll be later this week. :) My characters are moving fast and I don't want them to leave without me.
So tell us, what fabulous books did you read last week?
Have a great week everyone!

I have read Susan Mallery's Just One Kiss and Two of a Kind. I am halfway through with Three Little Words. They have very little violence which is unusual for me. But I like them anyway. They are fun.
ReplyDeleteHi Christy! Hi Everyone!
ReplyDeleteNo recommends for me this week. I have not read a book in weeks, but am finding my way out of boxes which is a plus.
I am hoping to start Rock Chick Revolution at some point this week.
Happy writing Christy and hope everyone has a great week!
Recommends for me:
ReplyDeleteRock Chick Revolution by Kristen Ashley, this is book 8 and the final book :( I loved this book it was my fav of the Rock Chick series.
Run The Risk by Lori Foster this is the 1st book, Getting Rowdy is #3 and will be out in Sept. I think.
Happy Reading!!!
I'm in the middle of Karen Robard's newest, the Last Kiss Good-bye, so good! Gotta love a sexy ghost. Also just finished reading the incomparable Suzanne Brockmann's essay for Read-a Romance Month, if you get the chance, I highly recommend both
ReplyDeleteSo last week I mentioned that I had started book 1 in the Elle Kennedy series Killer Instinct, Midnight Rescue. Well I finished it and the next two, Midnight Affairs and Midnight Affairs. I don’t think I’ll be able to say enough great things about this series. I loved that while each book could be stand alone, the storylines did flow from one book to another. I loved just about everything about it except the heroine in book 1, Abby Sinclair. I liked her, but I didn’t love her. But everything else was off the hook for me. Sexy, alpha males, confident yet venerable women, gripping storylines and lots of hot sexy time!! Book 4, Midnight Pursuits, is due out in 2014, and I, for one, can’t wait!!!
ReplyDeleteMy second recommend is from my girl, Katie Reus. Just released today, Protecting His Witness is the 7th book in her Red Stone Security series. It is the story of Vincent Hansen and Jordan Alvarado. I received an ARC last week and am about half way through and I’m loving it!! Katie is a great storyteller who always delivers!!! It wasn’t supposed to be out for a couple of weeks but we all got lucky and it was released today!!
Hope everyone enjoys their week!!!

ReplyDeleteThe first book is Fatal Affair;
The Second is Fatal Justice, and
The Third is Fatal Consequences.
They are all great. I only have three more and a Novella left. i hope that there are more to the series!
I strongly recommend.
