Good Monday All!
Hope you had a fabulous weekend filled with great reads. Can't wait to hear about them.
I finally made it to the halfway point on NOTHING TO LOSE. Yay! Even though I wanted to release the book by year's end, I'm glad I gave myself more time. This book is not only turning into one of my favorites but I'm loving the series idea and where its headed. So, hopefully you won't be too disappointed in the delay. I do plan to share an excerpt on my Facebook page soon. As soon as I have it up, I'll let you know so you can pop over there. Early next year, I'll post the beautiful cover for NTL, which was created by the awesome cover artist, Tricia Schmidt of PickyMe Designs. As you'll remember, she also did the fabulous new cover for CHANCES ARE.
No new reads for me this week however I'm planning on taking a few days off between Christmas and New Years and hope to devour as many books as I can. What do you have to recommend?
BTW, I'm doing a 12 days of book giveaways on Facebook, leading up to Christmas Day. I've already posted winners for the first 3 days but there's plenty of days left. All you have to do to enter is comment on the post on my Facebook page. Easy peasy! Today's prize is the 4th book in the LCR series, NO CHANCE. So come on over!
And don't forget to enter the giveaway of a box of books and other goodies that I'll be giving away on 12/31, tell us some of your favorite reads this year. You can give 1 or a 100. Doesn't matter but you have to name at least one favorite read to enter.
Three of my faves for the year are: Pamela Clare's Striking Distance, Liliana Hart's Kill Shot and Rachel Grant's Body of Evidence. All fabulous reads!
Next week's entry will be to tell us what book(s) you're looking forward to reading in 2014.
Have a great week everyone! And if you're out shopping, please be careful!

Hi Christy,
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays! My favorite book of the year is Real by Katy Evans
Hi Christy, according to my goodreads account i have read over 113 books in the last 12 months and so for me to pick just one of those to recommend is just not possible. Because i have read great authors like Jill Shalvis who'd books like Rumor has it and Lucky Harbor series just grab you and make you smile and feel good when your having a bad day. Then there is Lori Foster who's Getting Rowdy will have you sll excited and hot fir more. Then there is you, your books grab me and take me in and i never want to stop reading them once i start them. They help take me out of my many bad days thanks to my health and for that i thank you. i also thank you for introducing me to a new author to me and that is Ella Grace thanks to you giving me my first ever signed copy of a book, I am hooked though I haven't been able to find the other books because the store here doesn't have them in stock I can't wait to find them and read them and read more from her. Then there is Carley Phillips and Lori Leigh and H.M.Ward and M.Leighton. Then who can forget great characters like Christian Grey and Annastia Steele by E.L.James or Giddeon Cross by Sylvia Day or Gabriel from Sylvian Reynard. Then of course there has been trips to Susan Mallery's fool's gold and Robyn Carr's virgin river. Then of course there is Jaci Burton and Janet Evanovich and Maya Banks with KGI series and her Colter's series and the trilogy she put out this year as well. Then there are the authors like Jamie McGuire with whole Beautiful series that kept you coming back for more with each book. Then Kristen Ashley and her Rock chicks series the laugh out loud til your sides hurt and you might pee yourself type books, while at the same time worrying about will the heroine really be okay. Then there is Christine Lauren these two women write together and have written the series Beautiful Bastard, Bombshell, player, Bitch all great funny books that take you through a each characters journey in a grough while still keeping in the main group. There is also Marie Force and her Fatal series. So as you can see there are way to many books and authors for me to recommend just one. I highly recommend all of the above mentioned.

All Cherry Adair's releases!!!
I discovered LCR books this year, so they are on the list.
Maya Banks KGI series.
Christine Feehans Sisters series, Carpayian series, and Ghostwalker series.
Nora Roberts series --- all of them.
I can't stop. There are so many more! Lol
Thanks,
Michele
I listed authors and their series. If I need to name a specific book I'll start with Cherry Adair's Ice Cold and Ricochet. :).
ReplyDeleteThis has been a year of discovery. Discovering new authors and awesome stories. The story that really blew me away was by a newby out of Australia Kat Latham "Knowing the Score". I really think she is someone to watch for in the future. Otherwise there are just too many to name. I do know my e-library grew by leaps and bounds and I believe I got through somewhere upwards of 50 books this year. I have never been so blessed before with so many good choices for stories each day. Thank you for being one of them :)
ReplyDeleteI cannot pick out one favorite from this year. However some of my favorites are:
ReplyDeleteElla Grace - Midnight Series
Chances Are - LCR
