Just got back from doing a little shopping and dropping my daughter off at her Lab class. Going to try to get more baking done while the little ones i babysit for are napping. So i have had a great day so far.

  4. "Last Chance" blurb is very enticing! As we all know, there's always hope - and I'm betting you've got an action-packed road leading to their HEA planned for McKenna and Lucas!

I'm so excited to start reading the new books, Christy!!!!!!

  5. Ida, you make me feel so lazy with all you've gotten done in half a day. You are so active! Enjoy your baking. Sounds like such fun!

  6. Thanks so much, Oklanannie! I'll be thrilled when they're finally released too! And yes, there will be action and roadblocks aplenty, but rest assured, McKenna and Lucas will definitely have an HEA.

  7. Christy, I am not sure if active would be a good word. I am feeling a bit drained now. If only i did not have to sleep those 4 hrs. lastnight i would be so much farther along than i am now. LOL
I was told Christmas is at my house this year (yes told). So since thier is 4 of us girls and only 2 of us can cook. I got chosen YAY! everyone will want the basket of goodies i usually give them every year plus they expect to have bunches of goodies here also. *sigh* back to work!

  8. Ida all I can say is you go girl!! Wow! Sounds to me like you have a lucky family to receive all your hard work!

Christy- I can not wait to read Cole's story. He won my heart already so I can't imagine how much more I'll love him after I've read his story.

  9. Wow, Ida. It's a good thing you CAN do so many things at one time. Hope you take time out to enjoy yourself too!

  10. Thanks, cmac. Cole surprised me as I wrote his story. I didn't realize (even though Shea had told me) what a really good person he was. After I got to know him, I felt so guilty for all the things that happened to him in RUN TO ME. But he does get his second chance in SECOND CHANCE, so I feel better about him. (:

  12. cmac,
Accually I think they just do not want me to leave my house this year.I love love love Christmas and I embarrass them when i go to my mom's on christmas day dressed in one of my costumes rather it be Mrs. Clause, an elf, a angel, reindeer, or as i went last year the Virgin Mary.
When they need something at the store i will go in my costume. I just love seeing the smiles on peoples faces so i guess they came up with a way to keep me in on Christmas day!

  13. Thanks, Jane. Won't be long now! And I think Ida gave me the countdown on Facebook...70 days. Seems like a long time but with the holidays, it'll go much faster.

    Happy Holidays!

  15. Ida you make me smile! That is awesome! I love the Christmas holidays myself. I'd dress the part to if I had the costumes. I was Mary in a church Christmas play when I was pregnant, but I that isn't as neat as you. Don't you just love it when the family gangs up on you. I'm sure the only reason they told you you had to have Christmas at your house is just so they can enjoy your festive spirit even more!

  16. Christy you did put Cole through a lot in Run to me, but that is what makes him such an amazing hero. He overcomes and is a greater man because it.

  17. cmac,
I never thought of it that way. I wonder why they they keep telling me to act 37 instead of 5 then? hummmmm.
most of my costumes are home made or i have found things at the goodwill to use. My angel costume was a $5.00 wedding dress i picked up at the thrift store. the wings were a bit pricy at $20.00 but even though i am a cheep butt i got them.

  18. Hi Christy
Excellent blurb. I'm really looking forward to these. I wrote Cindy Gerard to congrat her on her RT nom. Told her that her books kept popping up in our talks here. She said she met you in DC last July & that you're a sweetheart. Big surprise there LOL.

Ida LOL the Virgin Mary. That's my nickname. I only read about that stuff LOL.No really.

  19. Christy,
LOVE the new covers on the website. They look so good.
Blog quote of the day from Stephanie Tyler (of Hard to Hold fame) "Christy Reece's new trilogy was awesome." So, there ya go.
'Course, everyone here already knew that. lol

  20. Hey Mary, thanks so much. And yes, I did meet Cindy last year. She's a sweetheart herself. And her nomination is well deserved!

  22. Christy, sorry i did not see your post yesterday.
I am not sure if taking time out is an option this year. but I only need the glowing smiles and warm faces around me when I catch them sneaking into thier goodie baskets because they could not wait. It just warms my heart. and makes me feel happy! (I swear i was santa in another life)LOL
