Second Day of Getting to Know You Contest

Hi Everyone--

Thanks for all the responses yesterday! Looks like many of us started reading romance at an early age, while a few found it a little later. Whenever you found it though, aren't you glad you did? I know I am.

Here's the second day question and rules are the same. One entry, per person, per day. Your name will go in the grand prize drawing to be made Tuesday, December 15.

Today's question:

NAME THE TITLE AND AUTHOR OF THE ROMANCE YOU ARE READING NOW OR WHAT WAS THE LAST ROMANCE YOU READ?

Hope to hear some great recommendations from everyone. To get us started, the romance I'm reading now is Hard To Hold by Stephanie Tyler. Loving it!

Your turn!

  2. I've read Hard to Hold and I'm really looking forward to Too Hot to Hold and Hold on Tight. I've been a fan of hers since she wrote for the Blaze line!I just finished reading this morning If Looks Could Chill by Nina Bruhns. This book is excellent! The first book was Shoot To Thrill and the next one comes out in April 2010 called A Kiss to Thrill. They are romantic suspense and hot, hot, hot!!!
I've also just finished Born of Ice by Sherrilyn Kenyon part of her League series it's a sci-fi romance, excellent series!

Hope I gave you some good suggestions for your down time! Besides who needs to clean house or do laundry anyway? LOL

  4. Wow, Kim. Thanks for all the recommendations! I think I have Shoot To Thrill on my massive TBR pile. Will have to move it closer to the top. LOL. I'm about five years behind on my reading, so the pile is a bit overwhelming. It's nice to get some direction. (o:

  10. Kim F. and I must be on the same reading wave 'cause I read "Hard to Hold" and enjoyed it alot. The next two books are definitely on my "must get" list.

But then last week I discovered Nina Bruhns new trilogy and let me just say "Wow"! I just finished "If Looks Could Chill" and agree that it is excellent, as well as was the first one, "Shoot to Thrill." For those who must have a HEA at the end of a book, you'll get it, but beware there are also several cliffhangars. The plot continues to build, along with the addition of more great characters, and you're left anxiously awaiting answers. I rate these two books as "on the edge of my seat" reads and they don't get any better than that for me.

Would highly recommend these books to those who love the romantic suspense genre.
